What’s your role at Classic Fine Foods and what are your main responsibilities and challenges?
Hi, I’m Charlie! I am Commercial Manager at Classic Fine Foods in London, I’ve been here for four and a half years now and loved every minute! I work with the sales team (the wonderful Amandine, Maria and Michela) to help our customers get the best products and service for their restaurants.

What do you like the most about your role?
I work with an incredible team of people who all share a common love of food and hospitality, I love going to see customers and suppliers and recently just got back from the Basque country to visit Axuria who produce our incredible milk-fed lamb.

What do you like the most about Classic Fine Foods so far?
I love the variety in what we do, we can all go from Caviar tastings to Chocolate tastings in a day and love seeing how our produce gets put onto a plate in a restaurant. I have had some incredible opportunities since being here and one of the highlights is handing out the Michelin plaques in 2023.

  • Ophelie Fosse, Marketing Manager

What’s your role at Classic Fine Foods and what are your main responsibilities and challenges?
In 2016, shortly after moving to London from Paris, I joined Classic Fine Foods. Since then, I've grown from Marketing Executive to Marketing Manager, leading all marketing efforts (Communication, Content, Digital, Events, Creative, Sponsorships) and our Marketing Team. I focus on brand consistency, fostering team creativity, and driving innovative strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement, and conversions in order to propel Classic Fine Foods to the next level.

The Marketing Department plays a vital role in promoting the business, so I am very proud to have developed Classic Fine Foods visibility in the hospitality industry and positioned ourselves as a leading provider of the best fine food ingredients. I enjoy collaborating across all our departments.

Our company culture fosters creativity, which I find very empowering.

  • Samira Cabral De Almeida, Pastry Category Manager

What’s your role at Classic Fine Foods and what are your main responsibilities and challenges?
At Classic Fine Foods, I've never been afraid to chase what excites me for the last 13 years being here. I started as a Buyer of Fresh Produce, putting my studies to good use. But after a while, the customer connection was missing. So, I took an opportunity at the telesales, then Sales Executive, and even Customer Service Manager – building and leading teams at every step. In January 2020, I took the reins of the Customer Service Team, relishing the daily customer interaction and the chance to shape it the way I envisioned.

But the sales itch never quite faded. So, when a Sales Manager role opened in 2021, I grabbed it! Leading a team of six and driving a whopping 75% of the turnover was exhilarating – a constant challenge, but one that kept me on my toes. Now, as Pastry Category Manager, I get to combine my sales expertise with a deeper product focus, leading a team and championing specific pastry brands. It's been a journey of growth and discovery, and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

What do you like the most about your role?
In this new role at Classic Fine Foods, it's like everything clicked! I get to wear many hats – chatting with suppliers, managing brands and a team, and visiting customers. My favourite is product sourcing! That's the holy grail for me. I thrive on variety, and Classic Fine Foods has given me this amazing opportunity to keep things fresh and exciting. It's the perfect blend of everything I love about this industry!

What do you like the most about Classic Fine Foods so far?
It's hard to pick just one thing! It's become like a second nature to me – Classic Fine Foods is in my DNA. There's always something new: a challenging problem to solve, a product to discover, an event to attend, or a hot new restaurant to visit. The best part is the people! It's a dynamic team, a real melting pot of personalities and cultures, all working together with a common goal – Customer Centricity (and having some fun along the way!).

  • Adrienn Tozser, Customer Service Supervisor - Day Shift

What’s your role at Classic Fine Foods and what are your main responsibilities and challenges?
I joined the company more than 6 years ago as a Customer Service and Sales Officer, then after 4 years I was promoted to Customer Service Supervisor of the admin team at customer service.

My responsibility is to provide guidance to the team for smooth operation and to attain satisfaction from both customer and company side. I oversee the daily administrative tasks to be completed on time prioritizing according to deadlines.

What do you like the most about your role?
I love that I have a great, supportive team who know their job and work well together. I do not need to worry about their tasks, they do a good job.

What do you like the most about Classic Fine Foods so far?
The products are amazing. Also, I like company’s attitude of daring to dream big.
