B Corp at the Workplace of Classic Fine Foods

This B Corp Month, we are celebrating the colleagues who power our B Corp journey and bring our values to life across every team. Highlighting the “people behind the B” shows that the strength of the movement comes from individuals making meaningful choices each day. Since becoming B Corp certified two years ago, we have continued to grow, deepening our culture of responsibility and our commitment to continuous improvement as we work toward recertification. Below, you will hear directly from our team about how they contribute to this journey and what being part of a B Corp means to them.

Karolina- Purchasing Assistant:

"What does the B mean to you?"

For me it means that Classic Fine Foods has successfully completed a rigorous assessment, demonstrating that the company upholds strong practices in how it treats its employees, supports the environment, and engages with the local community.

"How does your work contribute to it?"

I contribute by supporting a workplace where we track key performance measures, continuously update our policies, and set ambitious sustainability targets to guide our progress.

"What are you most proud of improving this year?"

I have changed my daily habits, simply by trying to reduce waste- choosing reusable mugs, bags or lunch containers when in the office and not printing unless it is necessary.

"Why are you proud to be part of the B Corp community?"

It’s great to know you work for a company that cares!

For me, the “B” is all about being a business that genuinely tries to do better for people, for the planet, and for the industry we’re part of.

“How does your work contribute to it?”

I help keep our processes aligned with our B Corp mindset making sure the way we work every day reflects our commitment to responsibility, transparency, and meaningful impact.

“What are you most proud of improving this year?”

Seeing our sustainability efforts become real, measurable changes. It’s been exciting watching all the small improvements add up to something powerful.

 “Why are you proud to be part of the B Corp community?”

Because it feels like joining a global group of businesses who actually walk the talk. It’s inspiring, motivating, and makes me proud that we’re helping push the food industry in a better direction.

“What does the B mean to you?”

For me, the B is a reminder that we’re part of something bigger than just our day to day work. It represents doing things with intention — making choices that genuinely help people, not just the business.

“How does your work contribute to it?”

In Ops Support, I’m often the person helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s solving an issue, supporting the team, or keeping processes clear. My role is about helping people do their jobs more easily. Cutting out confusion, supporting teams, and making operations smoother all contribute to a more responsible, efficient way of working.

“What are you most proud of improving this year?”

I’m proud of helping improve communication between our operational teams. It’s made day to day challenges easier to handle and strengthened how we work together.

“Why are you proud to be part of the B Corp community?”

Being part of the B Corp community reminds me that we’re not just moving boxes or delivering food — we’re part of a company trying to have a positive impact. That’s something I’m proud to stand behind.

"What B Corp means to you?"

B Corp means working for a business that that cares about people, the planet, and doing the right thing. B Corp to my understanding is about contributing fare and and more reason ways of doing business – where we support environment, people, business 

"How does your work contribute to it?"

By making thoughtful, responsible decisions in my day to day work and supporting practices that create a positive impact i.e. recycling/ throwing away waste correctly, reducing waste, incorporating hygiene factors.

"What are you most proud of improving this year?"

Being part of a global movement pushing for better standards and be part of CFF which helps in making choices that benefit employees, customers, and the environment.

"Why are you proud to be part of the B Corp community?"

It’s inspiring to be part of a community/Business that truly cares about doing thing and making a meaningful difference.

As we celebrate B Corp Month, it’s clear that our certification isn’t defined by a logo or a score it’s defined by the people behind it. The reflections shared by our colleagues show how every role, every decision, and every small daily choice contributes to a culture rooted in responsibility and positive impact. Whether it’s improving communication, reducing waste, strengthening processes, or simply choosing to do things the right way, these individual actions are what keep our B Corp journey moving forward.

Two years into our certification, the passion, honesty, and commitment shown by our team demonstrate that we’re not just maintaining standards but we’re continuously raising them. We are proud of the progress we’ve made, and even more inspired by the shared belief that we can always do better.
