What's Hot This Month At Classic Fine Foods: May Edition

28th April 2023

Seasonality

With the mild Spring weather coming in, there is plenty of seasonal produce on offer. At Classic Fine Foods we also have some exciting launches to share with our customers. And not forgetting Father's Day is just around the corner!

With Classic Harvest by Classic Fine Foods, we want to offer to you the best selection of seasonal and high-quality fruit & vegetables coming from the best farmers in the UK and Europe;

Fruit

Stone fruits such as apricots and cherries are perfectly ripe by May. Both deliciously sweet and tangy, they are perfect for your spring desserts, cakes, pastries and even salads.

Grown in Herefordshire, Oakchurch strawberries and raspberries are now in season. Deliciously sweet and juicy, these berries will be a staple of your spring/summer menus.

Veg

A rare spring treat now in season is wild asparagus. A little thinner than farmed asparagus, it is still full of flavour and best enjoyed either raw or gently blanched.

At Classic Fine Foods, we also have fresh peas in a pod and broad beans available, perfect for adding to salads, risottos, dips and more.

From the UK, we now have Isle of Wight tomatoes in stock. From classic vine to cherry to mixed heritage, we have a host of vibrant and tasty tomatoes on offer.

Take a look at our Harvest Seasonal Calendar for more information on what fruit and veg are in season every month at Classic Fine Foods here.

The brand offers a wide selection of origins, all of the same high quality; from well-known cocoa origins such as Madagascar and Columbia to the rarer ones such as Vietnam and Indonesia. With a range of origins and cocoa percentages, there is the perfect chocolate for everyone!

Mona Lisa

Mona Lisa offers chefs elegant chocolate decoration of many shapes, textures and colours to easily turn everyday pastry creations into extraordinary delights.
