White Soy Sauce was created in Aichi, one of the biggest wheat-producing regions, also known in Japan for its delicious water. Unlike usual soy sauce, the white one is produced with 90% wheat and 10% soybeans. The high wheat content gives the soy sauce its light, almost transparent colour, and its smooth taste.
Flavour: Deep, long, round and very rich in umami.
Use: Thanks to its light colour, this White Soy Sauce is very useful to season dishes without colouring them. You can put it in omelettes, salty cakes, broth or other preparations with cream and egg, and also use it in salad dressings or with fish and meat.
